The BNIA is now part of the Lake Partner Program, an Ontario-wide effort using citizen-scientists to ensure long-term water-quality data collection. Anne Stewart heads our BNIA program. We now test for total bacteria and fecal coliforms at the Kidd cottage in Nares, saving a trip to Parry Sound after each round of testing. We welcome teens and tweens, and anyone else to join in.
· Where: Meet at Anne Stewart’s pontoon boat, boathouse #7, just east of Bayfield Lodge on Hwy 529A. (Storm/rain date: Monday, July 27, 10 am.)
· Registration (max. of 12 people): astewart.anne@gmail.com
· Cost: Free
