2015 Outings and Workshops for BNIA Membership
by Molly Mulloy
People loved last summer's workshops and outings. This year we are thrilled that Tracy Pawis and Glen Caradus have agreed to return. There will also be a Botany - Ecology outing; a 'Make Your Own Bay-friendly Cleaners' workshop; Yoga on the Bay, a Georgian Bay Land Trust talk and tour; and The GB Biosphere Reserve's Kid's program, water information session and shoreline event. For the GB Biosphere Reserve Kid's program, please contact Anne Stewart. Leave a message at 705-366-2148 or email email@example.com for a Kid's Kit to use throughout the summer. Check the GBBR website for more details.
Please feel free to contact Molly Mulloy with comments, feedback, and ideas for future events. Phone 613-967-7899 before mid-June, email firstname.lastname@example.org or text me @ 613-827-2623.
All outings are family events. Bring along friends, neighbours, and visitors. Workshops have limited space, so sign up asap. All outings and workshops are led by experts in their fields who are volunteering their services, for which we are most grateful. Dress appropriately for the weather: sun, wind, drizzle. Bring water and snacks, or a lunch if the event is over the lunch hour. Storm and high wind dates will be the following day. Changes and updates will be posted on the BNIA Facebook page and the notice board 'Events' postersat local marinas.Botany on the Bay

We are fortunate that Glen could squeeze us into his busy summer schedule. His show has enthralled old and young alike for several years, with at least one family organizing their holiday time around it! Glen performs from far northern reserves to provincial parks to New York City stages. Bring the whole family for an afternoon of educational entertainment and fun. Glen's work is based on his love and respect for the natural environment.
